I have been obsessed with these Chinese
hats recently and have taken to drawing
them and creating my own style inspired
by them.
Their bold colours and use of repeating
geometric shapes is wonderful and the
style will lend itself well to
printmaking and vector interpretations.

then alongside are the digitally flipped
symmetrical versions. I like the way the
character changes between the two and I
prefer the wacky, somewhat deranged
looks of the asymmetrical guys.
